Progress Tracking

6-week courses

As in any sport it is important to keep track of your progress and all top trampolinists maintain training diaries for this purpose.  For now I have designed a progress chart for the 6-week course participants on Fridays which you can download and keep for yourselves showing your progress over the course.  The master for this can be downloaded here.  I will also be keeping a copy of this and will keep you appraised of how I consider you to be progressing over time - my most recent and archive updates (for past groups) can be found here

After-school club

Probably the best was of assessing progress of already capable bouncers is through competition, unfortunately the main schools competitions only happen once a year with regional heats in December.  British Gymnastics' competitions happen much more frequently but you will need to belong to a BG-registered Trampoline Club to enter these competitions (local clubs are listed here.)  Failing competition the next best way of assessing your progress is to measure t against standard benchmarks - BG has created a set of 15 award levels for this purpose which are available to review here.   I have also created a 'feedback' page here where I will report on your progress.
